Key Differences Between FFP2 and N95

FFP2 and N95 masks both offer high levels of respiratory protection. N95 masks, certified under the U.S. standard NIOSH, filter at least 95% of airborne particles, focusing on non-oil-based particles. FFP2 masks, certified under the European standard EN 149, filter at least 94% of particles, including oil-based particles, making them versatile for various industrial settings.

Protection Standards:

FFP2 filters at least 94% of both non-oil-based and oil-based particles. N95 filters at least 95% of non-oil-based particles.

Types of Particles:

Non-oil-based (haze particles, airborne viruses and bacteria)

Oil-based (oily aerosols, paint mists, cooking oil fumes)
